Sending a Report via a Solver’s Website

You don’t always need the Snap Send Solve app to report an issue.

Many Councils and authorities (Solvers) have our reporting tool embedded directly on their own websites, allowing you to submit reports seamlessly while you browse their pages.

Our embedded webform works on both desktop and mobile browsers. Here is how to complete your report:

1. Add Photos

You can upload up to five photos to provide visual context for the issue.

  • Desktop: Drag and drop files directly into the photo field or click to browse your computer.

  • Mobile: Tap the photo field to take a new photo or select one from your library.

  • Pro Tip: If your photos have location services (GPS) enabled, the form will automatically detect the location for the next step.

Click Next.

2. Incident Location

The location tells the Solver exactly where the issue is.

  • Automatic: If your photo contained location data, the pin will already be placed on the map.

  • Manual: Type the address into the search bar or, if on a desktop, drag and drop the map pin to the precise spot.

Click Next.

3. Incident Details

Provide any extra information that might help the Solver’s field team. Mentioning specific landmarks or providing a brief description helps ensure the issue is resolved efficiently.

Click Next.

4. Incident Type

Select the category that best fits your report (e.g., Potholes, Graffiti, or Overgrown Vegetation). You can scroll through the list or use the search bar to find a specific category quickly.

5. Your Details

Enter your contact information. This allows the Solver to reach out if they need more information or want to provide you with an official status update.

6. Review & Confirm

Check the summary page to ensure all details are accurate. Once you are satisfied, click Next to move to the final confirmation screen.

Note: Your report is not sent until you complete the email verification step.

7. Verify and Send

To keep our platform secure and ensure Solvers receive genuine reports, we use a quick email verification process:

  1. Enter your email address.

  2. Check your inbox for a verification code.

  3. Enter the code into the form and click Submit.

Success! You will see a confirmation page with your Snap ID.
