Find out about why we’ve introduced email verification on our web form

Updated over a week ago

If you’ve ever sent a Snap using our mobile app, you’ll know you need to create an account before Snapping. Setting up an account means you can access all of Snap Send Solve’s great features such as being able to view your Snap history and receive messages from Solvers. We’ve now updated our web form to align it with the app experience.

What happened before?

Previously, you could send a Snap on our web form reporting tool without any email verification. This meant your Snaps weren’t associated with your account.

What is being changed?

Before sending a report through our web form, you’ll need to verify your email address. Once your email address is verified, we can link your web form reports to your Snapper account and display them in the app. This means any Snap you create using the web form can now be tracked and updated in the app (as long as you sign in with the same email address you verified in the webform).

How does it work?

  1. After creating your Snap on the web form, we'll ask you to enter your email address on the ‘Confirm details’ screen. At this point, your Snap hasn’t been sent.

  2. After entering and submitting your email address, you'll receive a verification link in your inbox. Simply click the “Verify and Send” button in the verification email to verify your email address and send your Snap.

  3. A confirmation screen will appear in your browser to show you that your Snap has been sent successfully.
