On first-time sign-up, Snappers using iOS (Apple) are prompted with an option to Hide My Email. Using this feature generates an Apple private relay email, which anonymises the Snapper’s email when a report is sent to you.
If you need to contact a Snapper who has their email hidden, you can now use the Snap Send Solve private relay email and all correspondence to the Snapper will be forwarded through us.
This feature ensures that your ability to contact a Snapper isn’t impacted if they’ve chosen to hide their email. If you have contacted the Snapper through the Snap Send Solve private relay email, and the Snapper responds to your email, their response will be forwarded to you when they reply.
