How do I change my email address?

Find out what to do if you have a new email address

Keeping your email address up to date ensures you receive important updates on your Snaps and maintain access to your account. Follow these steps to change your email address directly within the app.

Steps to Update Your Email

  1. Open the App: Launch Snap Send Solve on your mobile device.

  2. Go to Account: Tap the Account icon (the person silhouette) in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Access Personal Details: Tap on Personal Details at the top of the menu.

  4. Select Email Address: Tap on your current email address to begin the update process.

  5. Enter New Email: Clear the existing email and type in your new address. Alternatively, you can select Continue with Google to link a different Google account.

  6. Verify Your Identity: *

    1. Social Sign On: If you choose a Google or Apple account, select the desired account from the pop-up list.

      • Confirm by tapping Continue as [Your Name].

    2. Manual email entry: We will email you a 4-digit code. Enter this code in the verification screen.

  7. Confirmation: Once successfully updated, you will see an "Email successfully verified" screen.

  8. Finalize: Tap Done to return to your profile.


Important Notes

  • 7-Day Security Period: After changing your email, you cannot change it again for 7 days. This is a security measure to keep your account safe.

  • Unlinked Accounts: When you update your email, your old email address will be unlinked, but all other account settings (like your name and phone number) will remain unchanged.
