How do I enable Camera Permissions on my device?

Enabling Camera Permissions can help Solvers accurately identify the location of your issue.

Updated over 7 months ago

Enabling camera permissions lets Snap Send Solve automatically detect your photo location when you add a photo to your report. This means you won’t have to move the pin or manually enter the address.

Using location data from your photos ensures accurate geolocation in your Snap Send Solve reports, allowing Solvers to easily locate and resolve your issue.

To enable Camera Permissions on your device, please complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings on your device

  2. Scroll and tap Privacy & Security (On iOS 16 or lower, this setting will be called “Privacy”)

  3. Tap Location Services (note: Location Services must be turned ON)

  4. Tap Camera

  5. Ensure “While Using the App” is selected and “Precise Location” is turned ON
